The simple motivation behind the Partnership Concept is based on the belief that the better we can do for our clients, the greater the product loyalty we can generate, and the higher the profitability for all of the partners.  When product is selected for a partner establishment, the goal is to create an air of confidence that the product will always be right for them.  Our partners do not have to be concerned with what comes into their establishments from Milton Abeles, Inc., only with what goes out.  In this way, we can help generate higher and more consistent profitability for our partners. This is our ultimate goal.


The Partnership Concept:

  1. The process begins with our relationships that we have developed with our suppliers.  We have spent years cultivating these relationships in order to secure a consistent source of supply for each of our product lines.  Without these suppliers, we cannot make the type of commitment that this program entails.

  2. These relationships entitle us to privileges from our suppliers that other purveyors simply do not have.  When we buy product from suppliers with multiple plants, we designate which plants we will accept product from. 

  3. Pre-selection begins with our commitment to our suppliers.  Because we buy from our suppliers every week, and because of the quality of the product we demand, our suppliers partner with us and consistently select a higher quality product for shipment to our facility.

  4. Pre-selection takes into account not only quality, but also size, color, yield and freshness. All of these things enable us to maintain the highest level of consistency.

  5. We maintain higher levels of inventory.  This is a key factor to insuring the selection that is necessary to provide the Simply the Best level of quality and consistency to our customers.

  6. When you do not have to worry about what is coming into your establishment, you can focus on what is going out. 

  7. The success of this program is dependent on the commitment from all of the parties.  The higher the degree of partnership, the greater the success of the program.

  8. When we procure product at an advantageous price point, we pass on the savings.  This is done so that in the true sense of partnership, our buying power translates into greater profit for our clients.  We hope that this too enhances their commitment to us.
